SAFETY POLICY
- As a courtesy, we allow the siblings to come in and stay in the classroom for a few minutes. But we are not responsible for them.
- It is normal for some children to have difficulty separating from parents, or cry when dropping off. Please make your drop off brief, the longer you prolong it, the harder it gets. A smile, cheerful good-bye kiss, and a reassuring word that you will be back are all that is needed. In my experience, children are nearly always quick to get involved in play or activities as soon as parents are gone.
- The drop off time is from 9:00 a.m., and pick up time is 12:00p.m. Please be on time. We do charge late fees. If you are late more than once in picking up your child, there is a $5.00 charge for the first five min. and $1.00 for each additional minute.
- Due to liability issues, if you have a small baby, please always keep them with you.
- Have your child wear close toe shoes at all times during class hours.
- If the child shows any signs of illness or is unable to participate in the normal routine and regular program, then they must stay home. Sick children want care from their parents in the comfort of their own homes. Your cooperation on this issue is extremely important.
- Please provide a small snack, as they do not eat a lot.
- Have your child’s name on their lunch boxes, backpacks, and personal belongings.
- Due to the discipline of the class, parents are welcome to stay outside the classroom but are no longer allowed to stay inside during class time.
- Due to safety concerns, children are no longer allowed to bring in any toys from home.
- Be sure to write in your emergency contact # on the sign-in sheet each morning.
- Due to food allergies, no cupcakes and or any food items are allowed for kids Birthday. We do celebrate birthdays in class. Please let us know if your child’s birthday is coming up. You may bring in goodie bags/toys for the kids. But it is optional.
- Parents are not allowed to yell/discipline and or talk negatively to any child.
- If parents have any concern in regard to any of our students, they must come to speak with us and not to the other parent directly. We are here to take care of these things. (These are small children. They do get carried away, sometimes a little excited, and that’s why we are here to guide them and to teach them to make better decisions).
- We will not allow/tolerate any of our kids being talked negatively by any person/s. It is our responsibility to protect every child during classroom time.
- Due to the nature of the program, we do not offer any makeup classes.
- We only use our Curriculum. We do not use any material provided by parents. Please do not offer any worksheets for teachers to use in class.
NOTE: Thank you in advance for your understanding, and please feel free to contact me in case you have any questions regarding the policy,
